Tillandsia
Epifyt tillandsia
Exotic Tillandsia – the air plant with lots of possible applications
In Latin America, this exotic plant grows on whatever surface it happens to land on.
When it breaks free of the mother plant, it is carried by the wind until it lands on a stone or a tree, absorbing nourishment through its leaves and only using its roots for anchorage.
Tillandsia is a flowering plant exhibiting a stem in shades of red.The plant has many different possible applications and is particularly suitable for use in decorations, lying loose on the window sill or being suspended. Imagination is the only limit to the use of this unique air plant.
The easiest way to water Tillandsia is with a spray approximately once a week.
Position in a light place out of direct sunshine. Temperature: 10–32°C.
